The Team
Within the Full Price Buying & Merchandising team, our mission is to ensure the Global Full Price product strategy is adapted to meet the specific needs of the region to maximize DTC performance & wholesale growth, and to ensure operational readiness across the Full Price buying teams. This position serves as the backbone of the Full Price team, collaborating closely with Hubs and wider TH teams to drive overall commercial performance. With an integral position in the team, the role contributes significantly to the department’s operational efficiency, strategic growth and overall success.
The Position
As Manager Regional Merchandiser, you will be crucial to the Full Price Buying & Merchandising team. You will execute the EMEA assortment architecture and strategy across the product category, working with Hub counterparts to deliver a consumer-relevant and channel-optimized product mix. This role is vital for achieving the Full Price Buying & Merchandising objectives and your work will be key to the commercial success of the TH brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regional assortment architecture: Input into the development of the EMEA assortment architecture, ensuring the right assortment for the product category in the region. This includes managing product selection and segmentation for optimal growth and profitability.
  • Category strategy: Own and execute the EMEA category strategy, providing range and product feedback to input into regional and global forecasting. Regularly analyze and report market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to inform the global product assortment.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Support Hub Merchandising teams in customizing assortments, ensuring global intent aligns with local opportunities. Work closely with Hub counterparts and Visual Merchandising to ensure alignment and cohesive execution of the category strategy and product assortment rollout.
  • Regional buying & assortment strategies: Execute regional buying and assortment strategies, including forecasting product volumes, managing commitments on a style level, and ensuring that products are available for both short-term and long-term market needs, optimizing inventory and sales.
  • Roll out of product assortment: Execute the regional rollout of product assortments, including ensuring that products are downloaded to sales teams and customers effectively. Manage the logistics of showroom setups, launch strategies, and in-market execution to maximize sales performance and brand presence across the EMEA region, ensuring product launches are on time and aligned with regional priorities.
  • Continuous improvement: Implement and exploit new systems and processes to continually increase merchandizing team efficiency.

Measures of Success

  • Product selection and trend responsiveness: high levels of assortment success including sell out performance of new collections, speed to market for new trends, exclusive product performance
  • Customer and market insight: accurate market insight including customer demand forecasting, customer ratings and reviews
  • Range & option count, sell through rate, net sales and inventory levels

Requirements

  • 7-10 years’ experience in Merchandising for a fashion retailer.
  • Accessories experience is essential
  • Proven track record in regional assortment planning and execution, ideally within Full Price environments.
  • Strong understanding of regional market trends and consumer behavior.
  • Able to work in a fast paced, matrix based, challenging environment.
  • Strong analytical, planning and organization skills with the ability to generate meaningful data insights to take commercial decisions.
  • Communication skills: advanced ability to clearly convey information both written and orally to executive internal stakeholders
  • Strong business and commercial acumen
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to develop, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Fluent English both written and verbal
  • Ability to travel abroad
  • Education: a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience
