CardWorks Servicing, LLC provides end-to end operational servicing functions for credit cards, secured cards, and installment loans. We service consumer and small business loans across the credit spectrum and offers backup servicing and due diligence services to capital providers and trustees.
Merrick Bank is an FDIC-insured Utah Industrial Loan Bank. Merrick operates three main business lines: credit cards, recreational lending, and merchant services.
Carson Smithfield, LLC provides a variety of post-charge-off debt recovery services, including digital self-service, IVR, live agent, and external agency management.
This position is responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of our clients’ needs in order to assist in the resolution of issues and escalations, and to offer the appropriate product/service solutions. This position also facilitates the development of new and existing client relationships, maintains ongoing contact with new clients to ensure a consistently positive experience with Merrick Bank to solidify the relationship, and ensures operational support needs for the Shared BIN program on the Global/TSYS and/or Fiserv processing platforms.

Essential Functions:

  • Leads the end-to-end implementation strategy for new ISO clients and processing platform integrations, ensuring seamless onboarding and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Serves as the primary relationship manager for key ISO partners, providing strategic operational oversight and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Analyzes complex client requirements, anticipates business needs, and delivers tailored solutions that align with industry best practices and Merrick Bank’s capabilities.
  • Drives cross-functional coordination among internal departments and external partners to ensure successful migration of client portfolios to and from Merrick Bank.
  • Advises executive leadership and clients on processing platform capabilities, pricing models, and operational alternatives to support growth and long-term partnership success.
  • Collaborates with senior management to shape a best-in-class client experience strategy, proactively identifying risks, removing obstacles, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Champions process improvement initiatives across client onboarding and operational support functions, driving innovation and efficiency in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Works closely with senior management to understand a prospective client’s needs to ensure a positive experience with Merrick Bank.
  • Looks for ways to improve efficiencies between Merrick, our clients and supported processing platforms.

  • Responsible for complying with all of the Bank’s internal control policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with all laws and regulations to which the Bank is subject.
  • Responsible for communicating problems in operations, noncompliance with the code of conduct, noncompliance with laws and regulations, policy violations, or illegal acts.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, four (4) years’ experience accepted in lieu of education requirement.
  • Three (3) years’ merchant acquiring, client relations experience is required.

The salary range for this position, if located in NY Metro/NY State is $94,000 to $105,000 annually. However, please note that the salary range will vary for other geographic areas.
