Make a difference as Manager Molecular Technologies Applications As Manager Molecular Technologies Applications, you will directly lead a group of 5 Process Supervisors and oversee a total team of 25–30 specialists in Enkhuizen. You report directly to the Head of Biotech Applications. In this key role, you ensure that our molecular technologies optimally support breeding and seed production at the highest quality. You maintain a strong operational focus while continuously driving innovation and improvement. Your key responsibilities: Lead, mentor and develop your team, fostering an environment of support, transparency and inclusivity. Represent the team across all levels of the organization, keeping communication clear and consistent. Support and drive continuous improvement projects across genotyping workflows. Implement new technologies in Genotyping, Omics and molecular automation that meet quality and operational requirements. Prepare compelling business cases for investments aimed at improving efficiency and throughput. Work effectively between flexibility and structured processes in a high‑throughput laboratory environment. Collaborate closely with: International breeding teams Molecular Technologies Research team Seed Operations / Production teams Deliver complete end-to-end solutions for stakeholders, from sample to data. Ensure smooth integration of automated laboratory systems in a high-throughput context. What you bring as a future colleague Strong leadership experience, ideally in a scientific, technical or high‑throughput laboratory environment. Solid understanding of DNA, molecular markers, or genotyping technologies. Experience with automated laboratory systems and/or molecular automation. Ability to communicate clearly at all organizational levels. Strategic thinking combined with hands‑on problem‑solving skills. Comfortable managing change and balancing innovation with established processes. Proactive, collaborative, and focused on delivering high-quality results. Proficiency in both Dutch and English is required, as you will collaborate with local teams and international stakeholders.
