What you will be doing A ssist the head of Motor in overseeing the motor claims functions Manage and monitor a team of motor claim handler Review claim processes and participate in process improvement and initiative Approve and review claims settlement and payment Assessment and adjudication of Motor claim Ensure claim is settled correctly and promptly Ensuring claim is registered within the Claim Service Standar Ensuring emails and phone calls coming through are well-managed and respond in a timely manner Ensuring claim is assessed correctly in accordance to policy coverage and within Authority Limit given Ensuring claim settlement is concluded promptly and within the Claim Service guideline Continuous communication with both External partners (eg. Surveyors/loss adjustors, agents, workshops & Investigators) & Internal partners (eg. customer care, underwriters) and providing the required support with the objective of providing quality claim service experience Investigate and escalate technical claim issue as and when required Handle adhoc queries from auditors and internal stakeholders Manage claims related projects What we are looking for At least 5 years of Motor claims handling experience To have experience in managing a team of claim handlers Good leadership and people management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills Independent and a fast learner, able to grasp processes and system quickly Good knowledge of local legislations Able to work effectively under pressure Strong customer orientation, team player Proficient in MS office applications
