Roles & Responsibilities

• Ø Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient execution of all fit-out and interior design projects.

• Ø Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures.

• Ø Manage project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• 
  
• Ø Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• 
  
• Ø Monitor project performance, costs, productivity, and profitability.
• 
  
• Ø Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, production, and site teams.
• 
  
• Ø Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• 
  
• Ø Review and approve project execution plans and work schedules.
• 
  
• Ø Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
• 
  
• Ø Lead, mentor, and evaluate project managers, site managers, engineers, and operational staff.
• 
  
• Ø Monitor and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across projects.
• 
  
• Ø Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• 
  
• Ø Resolve project-related issues, escalations, and resource conflicts.
• 
  
• Ø Prepare operational reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management.
• 
  
• Ø Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• 
  
• Ø Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• 
  
• Ø Support business development by providing operational input for tenders and proposals.
• 
  
• Ø Ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment, and company resources.
• 
  
• Ø Approve project execution plans and operational schedules.
• 
  
• Ø Allocate manpower, equipment, and operational resources across projects.
• 
  
• Ø Assign duties and responsibilities to project and site teams.
• 
  
• Ø Approve operational expenditures within approved budgets and delegated authority limits.
• 
  
• Ø Recommend recruitment, promotion, training, disciplinary actions, and termination of operational staff.
• 
  
• Ø Select, evaluate, and recommend subcontractors and suppliers.
• 
  
• Ø Negotiate operational aspects of contracts, procurement, and service agreements.
• 
  
• Ø Enforce compliance with company policies, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• 
  
• Ø Suspend or stop work activities that pose safety risks, quality concerns, or contractual non-compliance.
• 
  
• Ø Escalate major operational, financial, or contractual issues to senior management.
• 
  
• Ø Approve operational reports, progress updates, and project status submissions.
• 
  
• Ø Initiate process improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• 
  
• Ø Participate in management meetings and strategic decision-making processes related to operations and project delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Ø Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction or Project Management. Ø 12+ years of experience in interior fit-out, joinery, renovation or construction Ø Project Management Certification PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile Project Management is preferred. Ø Strong leadership and team management skills. Ø Excellent project planning and coordination skills. Ø Budget management and cost control. Ø Vendor and subcontractor management. Ø Negotiation and contract management skills. Ø Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ø Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ø Analytical, reporting, Time management and organizational skills. Ø Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and project management software. Ø Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Ø Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively. Ø Ability to identify and mitigate project risks. Ø Ability to maintain high-quality standards while controlling costs. Ø Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors
