ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The role of the Department of Education is to support Victorians to build prosperous, socially engaged, happy and healthy lives. The key accountabilities for the Manager include:

  • Leading the effective delivery of non-government school grants programs.
  • Managing key stakeholders that support the Authority in the grants process.
  • Developing internal and external governance arrangements to ensure robust and transparent decision-making protocols are in place.
  • Overseeing overall program coordination and management of grants governance and business improvement processes
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Manager, Non-Government School Grants Unit will lead a small and high-performing team that are responsible for developing and delivering effective non-government school grant programs.

The key accountabilities for the Manager include:

  • Leading the effective delivery of non-government school grants programs.
  • Managing key stakeholders that support the Authority in the grants process.
  • Developing internal and external governance arrangements to ensure robust and transparent decision-making protocols are in place.
  • Overseeing overall program coordination and management of grants governance and business improvement processes.

The ideal candidate will have a background in developing and coordinating grant programs in a government setting and experience managing people.
