The group you’ll be a part of The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. The impact you’ll make Lam’s Materials Manager manages a team of Materials program and project managers through all stages of product development from R&D to volume manufacturing to ensure PDR (product development and release) deliverables are completed with high quality and within programs timeline. You'll work in a cross -functional team environment within a matrix organization with internal customers, including high level executives. You are the point of contact for all escalations from Product group to Supply Chain, liaison between Engineering Product management and Supply Chain functional organization. Hires, manages, and develops Materials Program and Project managers for NPI programs. Responsible for organizational and individual development of all direct reports within Lam’s performance management program. What you’ll do Materials Program Manager prescribed responsibilities as outlined in Lam’s design process Develop cost reductions roadmaps to meet product cost targets. Work with Supply Chain to develop sourcing strategies and sourcing plans to meet cost and lead time targets. Transition to High Volume deliverables (Pilot to High Volume). Suppliers ramp readiness assessment, critical parts management, lead time reduction and mitigation plans. Project services management. Manage and lead team to close material shortages and enable new part introduction for Pilot builds. Who we’re looking for Bachelor degree in Engineering or related technical field is required with 4-6 years of supervisory experience. Six years’ program management experience. Minimum 4 years of experience directly managing others. Basic knowledge of manufacturing methods and commodities related to cost structure. Supply chain knowledge for critical commodities as related to sourcing decisions and cost strategies. Demonstrated leadership skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail for everyday tactical execution. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills required. Semiconductory industry and Dep/Etch equipment product knowledge are beneficial. Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% (including domestic and international). Salary CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: Min $125,000 - Max $270,000. The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
