Make a Difference The Nurse Manager will achieve the goals and objectives of the department through the development of new partnerships between team members, physicians, and the network, consistent with the values, mission, and the vision of Community Health Network. The Manager serves as a leader in providing excellent service, clinical standards, and patient satisfaction goals including patient/physician relationships and staff rounding. This position will ensure staff meets departmental workload and assignments reflect appropriate utilization of personnel, scope of practice, competencies, patient needs, and level of care. The Manager will utilize evidence-based practices regarding patient mix, resulting in improved clinical outcomes, and increased patient satisfaction. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude towards problem-solving. 5 (five) or more years of RN experience required. 3 (three) or more years of management/leadership experience required. 3 (three) or more years of ICU experience strongly preferred. 2-year / associate degree Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred. Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency required. Certification required in relevant specialty or Nursing Administration within three years of assuming the role. Knowledge and ability to apply Performance Improvement philosophy. Ability to manage financial resources, including departmental budgets. Demonstrated ability to communicate, negotiate, be flexible, and problem-solve. Operationalize network goals, objectives, and imperatives. Understand the change process. Demonstrate leadership competency in effectiveness standards.
Responsibilities
