We are dedicated to building a high‑performance environment underpinned by a strong risk culture, ensuring we deliver the best outcomes for our members.     Your New Role  As Manager, Obligations Management, you’ll play a central role in overseeing how the Fund understands, tracks and meets its regulatory obligations. You’ll lead a small team responsible for maintaining the Obligations Register, partnering with Line 1 and Group Risk to uplift compliance frameworks, strengthen controls and support adherence across the organisation. Your work will help safeguard trust and ensure AustralianSuper continues to respond effectively to a changing regulatory environment.   Key duties include but are not limited to;  * Lead the uplift and ongoing management of the end‑to‑end lifecycle of obligations management.   * Oversee the Obligations Register on the GRC system, ensuring obligations are accurate, current and assigned to owners.  * Partner with Line 1 on implementation of obligations, including regulatory change processes and controls design.   * Engage with Group Risk to ensure alignment with the Compliance Policy and Standard.  * Report to Senior Management and committees with insights, dashboards and commentary on regulatory changes and trends.   * Provide training and support to users on GRC obligation and regulatory change lifecycle processes.   * Build strong relationships with Line 1, Legal and Group Risk to uplift obligations awareness and collaboration.     What You’ll Need  * Knowledge of the superannuation industry and relevant obligations.  * Strong understanding of governance, risk and compliance practices and regulatory expectations.  * Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across the business.  * High‑quality written skills, including the ability to produce effective reports and insights.  * Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and investigative capability.  * Experience providing training and guidance on compliance processes.   * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a wide range of tasks.  * Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law or a related field.   * Hold an accreditation in Risk Management from a recognised body like Risk Management Institute of Australasia (RMIA) or Governance Institute of Australia (GIA), or be willing to obtain one after joining AustralianSuper.  * Demonstrated ability to understand and translate external regulatory requirements to shape business outcomes.     Life at AustralianSuper  AustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, and we support our people with ongoing learning, coaching and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding global organisation.
