The Manager of Cardiopulmonary Services is responsible for efficiently and effectively managing delivery of various forms of respiratory treatments to include but limited to: IPPB, ultrasonic, aerosol therapy, postural drainage percussion, rehabilitation procedures, ventilator management, pulmonary function, stress testing and for trained individuals; cardiac rehabilitation, vascular testing and other specialized diagnostic studies.  This position requires knowledge and skill of leadership in administration, principles of effective teaching and learning, fiscal management, and effective interpersonal relationships and communication. Essential Responsibilities * Provide leadership and management for the Cardiopulmonary Department * Cooperatively and supportively work with the members of the medical staff to provide services to patients * Provide significant input into the preparation of a departmental budget * Provide support and direction to staff by guiding, coaching, developing and counseling when necessary * Ensure staff competence through proper orientation, training, supervision and evaluation * Maintain staffing compliance within regulatory requirements and budget consideration * Serve on hospital committees * Serve as a role model and mentor for staff and peers Other Responsibilities * Perform all other related duties as assigned in a professional and responsive manner * Demonstrate the ability to use relevant equipment * Support, understand, and promote Alomere Health’s mission, vision, values, policies and procedures * Ability to meet the work schedule requirements with flexibility dependent upon the needs of the department * Foster respectful working relationships with professional colleagues, patients, families, and general public regardless of age, gender, lifestyle, culture, beliefs, race, socioeconomic class, or ability  Required Qualifications * Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care approved by the American Medical Association * Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care * Registered with the state of Minnesota as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) * ACLS certified  Preferred Qualifications  *  Advanced education in management  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities  * Knowledge of basic ECG, Coronary Artery Disease and treatment and Cardiac Rehab process * Experience in leadership, management and teaching abilities * Background in Cardiopulmonary, Outpatient Care and Critical Care setting  Leadership  * Demonstrate knowledge and application of established practices, protocols, and procedures of the position, department, and applicable professional standards * Maintain competency and knowledge of current standards of practice, trends, and developments in related scope of job role or practice; commits to continuous learning for themselves * Assist in development and fostering of continuous learning for members of team * Promote a culture of safety and strong communication for patients and employees * Demonstrate excellent customer service through attitude and actions, consistent with the standards contained in the Mission, Vision, and Values of the organization Union Position: No
