Club matches 4% for the first 5yrs of service, 7% match after 5 years of service Job Summary: The Manager of Club Engagement is responsible for shaping a consistent voice and brand in all Club communications. They are tasked with branding all of the visual marketing (digital and hard copy) by developing and driving internal communication strategies and activities. In addition to this, the person in this position supports the Club’s IT by updating logins, hardware, software, and supporting the Controller with additional accounting or IT needs. Works closely with other Leadership Team Members to ensure member satisfaction for all events. Supervises: ·NA Directly Reports To: · General Manager/Chief Operating Officer (GM/COO) Education, Experience, and Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; preferred in a related field. · Thorough understanding of website content management, graphic design, and Microsoft Office · Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout, and design skills · Superior project and time management as well as organizational skills · One year of private club management experience preferred. Job Knowledge, Core Competencies, and Expectations: · Assist with the communication of the Club’s Mission, Vision, and Values while upholding a laudable status of them. · Exemplary deliverer of motivation, diplomacy, balance, and tact while earning the respect of the Membership, Team Members, and the Sand Point Community at large. · Conducts themselves in a commendable, responsible, and professional manner at all times and encourages other team members to do the same to reflect the intended image of the Club throughout the Community. · Demonstrate effective interpersonal relations skills, strong and proactive communications, and efficient delivery and gathering of information through numerous mediums such as orally, in writing, and electronically to the entire Club Membership. · Think, operate, exemplify, and deliver logically, creatively, strategically, and innovatively while meeting objectives and goals both near-term and long-term while displaying fiscal and administrative matters and problem solving. · Assure that federal, state, and local laws in addition to Club policies and procedures are up to date and in compliance with the necessary and respective agencies. Job Duties include, but are not limited to: Marketing and Communications: · Create and edit material from all committees and team members including member and public communications including, but not limited to email, website, social media, newsletter, on-site, displays, and Club mailings. · Maintain, update, and design the Club’s website and ensure sync of member segments and rosters. · Design, write, and edit the quarterly newsletter. · Produce and publish weekly emails to all members. · Produce all media including but not limited to posters, emails, and digital signs that promote upcoming Club and Team Events and ensure that they are in alignment with the Club’s brand. · Create and manage all signage within and around the Club to ensure brand consistency and quality. · Work with the Club Leadership Team to create and maintain the style guide and ensure that all team members are in alignment with the Club’s branding. · Work with the Food and Beverage Team to develop and publish all menu communications. · Write and maintain all Board minutes, agendas, packets, and correspondence for Board Officers and the General Manager. · Maintain the Club Asset Listing in coordination with the Club Controller. · Assist in the operation of certain Club Events as determined by the General Manager. · Send out reminders regarding Board and Committee Meetings. · Attended Meetings. · Performs other duties and projects as requested by the GM/COO. IT & Accounting Support: · Updates and sets up accounts for SPCC team members for email and computer network systems. · Orders IT hardware as requested and approved; repairs as needed or contacts third party IT support. · Acts as a liaison to the Club’s third-party IT support. · Supports the installation and configuration of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners. · Supports monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks. · Tests new technology. · Perform tasks as assigned by the Controller or General Manager/COO. · Performs special accounting projects as needed. Licenses and Special Requirements · CPR and First Aid Certified Physical Demands and Work Environment · Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time. · Must be able to stoop, kneel and crouch. · Push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds. · Continuous repetitive motions and physical actions. · This position requires use of close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. · Ability to communicate verbally, orally, and electronically. · Able to work in a moderate noise level work environment.
Responsibilities
The Manager of Club Engagement is responsible for establishing a unified brand voice across all club communications, including developing and driving internal communication strategies and managing visual marketing materials in both digital and hard copy formats. This role also involves supporting the Club's IT infrastructure and collaborating with the Leadership Team to ensure high member satisfaction for all events.
