With over 200+ locations, in 28 states, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico and Canada there is a location to service our customers HVAC/R needs Company Website: www.carrierenterprise.com [http://www.carrierenterprise.com/] Summary   The Regional Controls Specialist will assist and train commercial contractors with Carrier i-Vu controls.  This position will be expected to draw up submittals, assist in controls start-up, support and trouble shoot i-Vu controls system when called upon by our clients.   Job Responsibilities: * Provide a primary resource for our customers to answer controls questions. * Assist in operating the existing Certified Controls Expert Contractor Programs. * Maintain Technician Certification documentation and establish training & testing requirements. * Assist in conducting training classes for the sales & installation of Carrier controls systems for dealers. * Attract elite contractor memberships in the Factory Controls Authorization Program. * Supports roll out new controls products to the Controls Expert dealers. * Grow the Carrier Commercial Controls presence in the region. * Manage the interface between the factory and our customers. * Travel throughout the region to provide support to Carrier controls dealers. Qualifications Requirements: * BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline(preferred). * 3-5 years of HVAC experience; distribution experience preferred. * Experience selling and supporting HVAC Controls products. * Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and achieve all goals as stated. * Must possess the ability to explain technical information to technical & non-technical people. * Must have demonstrated experience in the understanding of computer programs and software applications as related to the HVAC Industry. * Experience working in a high-performance, cross-functional team environment. * Strong interpersonal communication skills. * Ability to multi-task within a diverse work environment.
