Description

The Town of Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove is currently looking for a qualified individual to join our professional team to provide and maintain the Town’s financial services.
Reporting to the Town Manager/Clerk, the Manager of Corporate Services is a senior management position responsible for ensuring the financial compliance of the Town. This is a full-time, permanent position .
Key duties include processing and managing the day-to-day financial operations of the Town, including but not limited to:
- Direct supervision of administrative staff.
- Reporting, preparation, and management of annual budgets.
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Banking and other financial decisions.
- Preparing and processing payroll.
- Preparing financial analysis and projections.
- Providing general oversight of financial operations.
- Ensuring compliance with all financial decisions and resolutions of Council.
- Ensuring compliance with government department and provincial financial regulations.
The successful candidate will require excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills; be a motivated self-starter who can solve problems creatively, work collaboratively and embrace challenge and change; and possess knowledge and proficiency with various office technology applications.
Qualifications:
- Business Commerce Degree or equivalent with a focus in accounting.
- Five years’ experience in financial position completing similar duties.
- Experience with Municipal Government would be an asset.
- Experience with Town Suite Financial Software would be an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite would be an asset.

Pay: $70,000.00-$86,091.00 per year
