Manager of Education and Outreach Services (remote, part-time, 24 hours per week)
Are you looking for a hands-on, high-impact, remote position where you can make a difference in education about the health of women and girls?
At Foundation for Women & Girls with Blood Disorders, our vision is that all women and girls with blood disorders are correctly diagnosed and optimally managed at every life stage.
We are seeking our next Manager of Education and Outreach to assist in ensuring educational excellence of on-line and live education programs of the Foundation for Women & Girls with Blood Disorders (FWGBD). The Manager reports to the Director of Education and assists the Director in the development of educational content, and in the CME (Continuing Medical Education accreditation) process. The Manager will assist with the implementation and record keeping related to the Foundation’s Learning Action Networks. The Manager is responsible for working with medical and health publishers to secure permissions for FWGBD’s use of medical and health articles and abstracts related to blood disorders in women and girls, and for assisting, via the Web, education program development by our faculty for Webinars and other education programs.
This is an amazing opportunity in which you can work REMOTE from home and part-time (yes, part-time – 24 hours per week). You will make an impact on our community by traveling 4-6 times per year to help conduct education programs at national medical or healthcare meetings, disseminating articles and abstracts from our booth or during our medical program. This is an outstanding opportunity to engage with members and visitors, describing programs, gathering leads, and ensuring a positive experience for attendees.
