Description Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Manager of Emergency Services RN for a permanent leadership opportunity in Independence, Missouri. The Manager of Emergency Services provides leadership and operational oversight for the Emergency Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care across the full continuum of emergency services. This role is responsible for clinical excellence, staff leadership, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency within the department. The Manager functions as a professional role model and clinical resource for staff while acting as a liaison between nursing leadership, medical staff, and hospital administration. Responsibilities include oversight of staffing, budgeting, quality outcomes, regulatory adherence, and human resource functions. The Manager leads departmental policy development, staff education, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives to support both patient care and organizational goals. COMPENSATION: Salary Range (heavily based on experience): $53.12/hour minimum $61.99/hour maximum (20+ years of experience) Sign-On Bonus: $25,000 with a 2-year commitment Paid out in increments (details reviewed during recruiter phone screen) Relocation Assistance: Case by case Requirements Registered Nurse (RN) required. Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum of 2 years of recent (within the last year) Acute Care Emergency Department Charge RN experience with strong ED background required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of employment start date. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of employment start date. Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within 1 year of employment start date. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 1 year of employment start date.
