QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Accounting Designation (CPA)
  • Payroll Certification (PCP)
  • 5-7 years of leadership experience in a computerized accounting environment.
  • Leadership, coaching and mentorship skills.
  • Public Sector exposure at a senior level.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong people management skills, diplomacy and team orientation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of City Operations.
  • Knowledge of and experience with computerized integrated financial software applications.
    Hours of work: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday (35 hours/week) in office.
    The current annual salary range for this non-union position is $100,996-$126,229.
