SKILLS REQUIRED:

Demand & Project Management

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects on time and within budget, coordinating cross-functional teams while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, timelines, and status reports, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies as they arise.
  • Manage the various channels through which the needs of the business are communicated to Technology personnel, assisting with prioritizing demands and setting due dates for multiple Technology teams.
  • Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive service improvements, monitoring and enforcing SLA compliance across IT services and vendors.

Strategy & Vision

  • Meet with key stakeholders and Technology leaders to gather and clarify requirements for developing a roadmap and charting a path to success.
  • Create and maintain accurate architectural diagrams, workflow charts, process flows, and other technical documentation.
  • Standardize documentation practices and ensure accessibility for technical staff and stakeholders alike.

Financial Operations

  • Develop and manage the IT operations budget, track IT expenditures, and perform routine cost analysis to help identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, including contract negotiations, performance reviews, and leading RFP processes for new technology services and infrastructure components.
  • Collaborate with finance and technology personnel to ensure accurate reporting and alignment with organizational financial goals.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations management, including leadership roles, with proven experience in project management and working knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Solid understanding of IT financial management and budgeting; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central a strong plus.
  • Strong vendor management experience with an emphasis on performance metrics and contract negotiations.
  • Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, as well as with Microsoft Visio and other documentation tools.
  • Deep knowledge of IT service delivery and SLA management, with ITIL certification preferred.
