Description Main Street Radiology in Bayside is looking for a full time Manager for the Pet/Nuclear Medicine Department. Requirements Graduation from an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, active certification (ARRT or NMTCB), and CT certification. Candidates require 2-5 years of clinical experience, proficiency in radiopharmaceutical handling, and strict adherence to radiation safety. The technologist must have extensive knowledge of Nuclear Medicine and Pet/CT plus the ability to manage daily workflow challenges. The Manager will be responsible to make sure shifts are covered, inventory is maintained, receive and report sick time notifications and coordinate examinations to ensure a seamless patient experience. They will also review the tech QC worklist on a daily basis and address any issues that appear, along with managing all aspects of the quality assurance program. The Manager will also be responsible for ACR submission and have a collaborative working relationship with the Administrator.

Responsibilities

The Manager oversees the daily workflow, staffing, and inventory of the Pet/Nuclear Medicine Department. They are also responsible for managing the quality assurance program and handling ACR submissions.
