JOB SUMMARY:
Build a Dream is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Manager, Operations & Human Resources to lead and oversee the organization’s HR functions and operational systems. This role combines end-to-end HR responsibilities, including recruitment, employee relations, and HR strategy, with operational oversight of finance, IT, grant reporting, and company-wide administrative processes. Working closely with all levels of leadership, the Manager, Operations & Human Resources will play a key role in supporting organizational efficiency, financial accountability, and a positive workplace culture, while aligning HR and operations with Build a Dream’s mission and long-term goals.
EDUCATION:
· Required: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
· Preferred: CHRP/CHRL designation or equivalent HR certification.
EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in HR and/or operations leadership.
· Proven track record in HR strategy, employee relations, and recruitment.
· Experience in financial oversight, budgeting, and compliance reporting.
· Familiarity with nonprofit or grant-funded environments is an asset.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
· Strong HR leadership skills with knowledge of employment legislation.
· Solid financial acumen, including budgeting and reporting.
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in HRIS, accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
