WORK ENVIRONMENT: ON-SITE/IN-CENTRE (WINDSOR, ON)
Since 1988, Pozitive Pathways, a registered charity, has evolved and diversified to address the emerging needs of our community. Our staff, peers, and volunteers provide in-reach and out-reach services to clients and service users through our Support Services and Needle Syringe Programs. Additionally, we provide education and resources to community members and service providers working with populations that are most vulnerable to HIV and HCV transmission
Pozitive Pathways understands that historically marginalized groups in our communities often encounter particular barriers to full access of support and participation. We, therefore, commit to actively dismantling all forms of racism and systemic oppression with greater involvement and meaningful engagement of people living with HIV at the forefront, including in our own organization and across governance structures. As a settler agency, Pozitive Pathways stands in solidarity with Indigenous and Black Peoples across Turtle Island and recognizes the role we have in the work of reconciliation and healing.
