Description

Description NPSG Global is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manager of Permitting and Compliance to oversee the permitting, licensing, and regulatory requirements for nationwide projects. This role will be responsible for ensuring all permits, business licenses, and contractor licenses are properly maintained, filed, and in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of permitting processes with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Requirements Key Responsibilities Conduct due diligence during pre-sale activities to assess permitting and regulatory requirements for potential projects. Review project scopes and RFPs to identify key permitting, inspection, or compliance requirements and provide guidance on required actions. Maintain a thorough understanding of permitting processes and the nuances across various Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs). Manage and maintain a master list of all business licenses, general contractor licenses, and electrical licenses. Oversee license renewals and ensure qualifying employees complete continuing education in a timely manner. Prepare and file permits for awarded projects where required, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and AHJs to ensure smooth and compliant project execution. Skills & Qualifications Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, AHJs, and internal stakeholders. Demonstrated knowledge of permitting processes and regulatory compliance. Familiarity with warehouse automation and material handling industry is strongly preferred. Proficiency with computer systems and document management software. Solutions-oriented mindset with a strong bias for action and proactive problem-solving. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. NPSG Global is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
