POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- The P2P technology roadmap purchasing and inventory line items
- The control framework and related management for materials and purchasing accountability
- Running all the monthly and quarterly reports and gathering sign off for all controls
- Maintaining the documentation to support all the controls as well as providing feedback to materials manager on how to improve processes that support the controls
- The standardized processes and related training for purchasing and stores
- Field audit of a selected group of inventory plants each year to provide feedback to the business as well as use that feedback to develop the above deliverables
- Producing the purchasing and inventory operational performance reporting and controls administration
- Training and rolling out of best practice materials and warehouse management processes to Engineering and Mechanical plants
- Leading the development of supply and materials technology roadmap as well as project execution and implementation
- Champion process improvement and change management (process or initiatives) across the network
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Post-Secondary Education preferably a University Degree (Business, Finance or Engineering an asset)
- At least five years of experience in overall Procurement and/or inventory management
- Min. 3 years of leadership experience
- Strong excel skills and analytical capabilities
- Systems aptitude, experience with SAP
