POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager of Programs & Education plays a central role in ensuring that CRC’s programming is delivered with excellence, integrity, and alignment to our mission and values. This position is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and implementation of CRC’s key programing, including the Rural Action Network® suite of offerings, and CRC’s education and leadership development programing.
Working in close partnership with CRC’s leadership team, this role ensures that program design and delivery are responsive to community needs, grounded in data, and aligned with organizational strategy. The Manager of Programs & Education also supervises the Program Coordinator(s) and helps build and maintain a network of trusted consultants, contractors, interns and volunteers to support program implementation.
This is a highly collaborative and dynamic role that requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, think strategically, and work across teams to ensure high-impact, mission-aligned programming across Colorado.
This full-time exempt position reports to the Director of Programs and Development.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Participation in quarterly CRC all staff in person events which may require travel
  • Colorado residency
  • Provide proof of legal ability to work in the United State of America
  • Provide two references
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable Internet service and a reasonable remote workspace to conduct business calls
    Access to reliable transportation to travel to Denver Headquarters, partner sites and business events

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient with O365, Canva, Word Press, Hootsuite, Adobe, Constant Contact, and Salesforce
  • Expert level knowledge of online facilitation in ZOOM, TEAMS and Google.
  • Proficient with Google e Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and support professional growth in staff and volunteers.
    Highly collaborative and communicative, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

SKILLS PREFERRED:

  • Bi-lingual
  • Customer Relationship Management Systems Experience, preferably Bloomerang.
    Experience with Human Resource Information System and Payroll System, preferably PayCom.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATIONS AND/OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience in nonprofit program management, education, or leadership development.
  • 3+ years of experience with project management, with a proven ability to manage multiple programs and deadlines simultaneously.
  • 3+ years experience with volunteer and/or staff supervision. Experience using data to drive program design, evaluation, and improvement.
  • 2+ Familiarity with rural communities, capacity-building, or nonprofit infrastructure is a plus.
