Description The Manager of Strategic Initiatives and Pilots is a clinically trained leader responsible for supporting the development, execution, and evaluation of strategic initiatives and pilot programs across the organization. This role partners closely with the Associate Director of Operations & Strategic Programs to translate strategic priorities into actionable pilots, operational improvements, and scalable solutions. The Manager leverages clinical expertise to ensure initiatives are patient-centered, operationally feasible, and aligned with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. In addition, the manager will provide continued support for ongoing initiatives such as MemoryWorkxs and Sage Elevate. This hybrid role will involve some travel within central and SW Florida on an as needed basis. Quarterly visits to our corporate office in St. Petersburg are required and more often as needed to support programs and initiatives. Responsibilities: Strategic Initiatives & Pilot Programs Support the design, implementation, and evaluation of strategic initiatives and pilot programs aligned with organizational goals. Partner with the Associate Director to identify opportunities for innovation, operational improvement, and program expansion. Develop pilot frameworks, timelines, success metrics, and evaluation plans to assess effectiveness and scalability. Lead or support pilots from concept through execution, assessment, and transition to sustained operations. Develops innovative strategies aligned with the company's purpose, anticipates workflow challenges and provides thoughtful solutions. Committed to improving processes, identifies and addresses inefficiencies, and recommends optimized workflows. Clinical & Operational Support Ensure pilots and initiatives align with clinical best practices, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Ability to learn project management skills. Identify operational risks, gaps, and dependencies and recommend mitigation strategies. Support day-to-day operational needs related to assigned initiatives or pilot programs, such as the following (but not limited to): Assist and support users for Ringcentral, including set up of new users, changes to existing and assistance with reporting metrics. Setup and assist as needed requests related to Formstack needs. Cross-Functional Collaboration Serve as a liaison across teams. Facilitate collaboration and communication to ensure engagement, and successful execution of initiatives. Perform site visits across the regions at a frequency TBD. Provide guidance and support to project teams, clinicians, or operational partners involved in initiatives and pilots. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement Data, Evaluation & Reporting Define and track key KPIs and success measures for initiatives and pilots. Analyze data and qualitative feedback to assess outcomes, identify lessons learned, and define next steps. Assist in the preparation of summaries, reports, and presentations for leadership to support decision-making and prioritization. Key Competencies: Strategic and analytical thinking Clinical insight and operational judgment Project and pilot management Clear communication and presentation skills Ability to manage ambiguity and help drive initiatives from concept to execution Ability to travel to sites (at a frequency to be defined) as well as to the corporate office in St. Pete. Onboarding will include travel to different regions as well as shadowing with different team members to learn the key elements of different roles within Sage Infusion & Sage Elevate. IT assessment for external candidates is required. Requirements Clinical license or credential (RN, Pharm tech or equivalent clinical background). Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, nursing, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical operations, healthcare management, or strategic/project-based roles. Experience supporting or leading pilots, initiatives, or process improvement efforts in a healthcare setting. Strong understanding of quality standards, and clinical workflows. Preferred: Experience working with senior leaders on strategic or operational initiatives. Experience in complex healthcare environments (e.g., hospital systems, ambulatory care, infusion services, specialty care).
