About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, solution-oriented Operations Optimization Specialist to join our growing team. This is a dynamic role ideal for a self-starter with a diverse skill set who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence.
In this role, you will play a key part in refining and standardizing our operational procedures, implementing technology-driven solutions, and building a framework for long-term efficiency across our organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Refine and standardize company SOPs; develop a digital platform for streamlined updates and document control.
  • Define, track, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making across departments.
  • Identify, implement, and sustain automation and technology solutions to improve workflows and increase operational efficiency.
  • Create and maintain standardized facility design and maintenance protocols for consistency across all locations.
  • Oversee lease tracking and maintain strategic documentation related to renewals, negotiations, and long-term real estate planning.
  • Act as a liaison between field teams and landlords for repair needs and facility-related inquiries; ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage and oversee company-utilized service providers, including evaluating performance, ensuring compliance with service agreements, and maintaining accurate records of contracts and renewals.
  • Support company expansion efforts including new facility openings, relocations, and project rollouts using structured workflows and checklists.
  • Assist in the design and continuous improvement of warehouse layouts and operational workflows.
  • Help create consistent and engaging showroom experiences that align with company branding and customer expectations.
  • Develop training programs and employee development initiatives to build and sustain a high-performing workforce.
  • Maintain operational playbooks and a structured internal communication framework to support cross-regional consistency.
  • Learn and assist in ESG and compliance efforts, including data reporting and documentation in collaboration with Watsco.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, process improvement, facilities management, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with document creation, project tracking, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and platforms used for automation and analytics.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for site visits and project execution.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with digital SOP tools and platforms
  • Exposure to warehouse or retail layout optimization.
  • Familiarity with facilities management software or lease tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of ESG frameworks and corporate compliance initiatives.
