QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business; MBA or relevant advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in operational leadership, transformation consulting, or private equity portfolio management.
  • Strong track record of implementing large scale global Operations transformations with focus on SIOP, inventory management, logistics optimization, and operational excellence.
  • Deep expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and operations strategy.
  • Proven success leading enterprise-wide cost reduction or performance improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to influence at all levels, including C-suite and investors.
  • Data-driven, results-oriented, and highly collaborative.
  • Comfortable working in high-intensity, fast-paced PE-backed environments.
Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

The Manager of Value Creation – Operations is a senior leadership role accountable for driving operational transformation across PerkinElmer’s global operations. This role will lead strategic initiatives to unlock value through margin expansion, cost reduction, and productivity improvements, working directly with the PE sponsor and executive team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive value creation planning and execution across all pillars of operations including procurement, planning, manufacturing, and logistics.
  • Design and execute initiatives in manufacturing excellence, procurement optimization, logistics efficiency, and working capital improvements.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align operational strategies with broader business goals.
  • Build capability within the organization to sustain improvements post-initiative.
  • Establish standardized performance management systems and metrics.
  • Serve as a thought partner to the PE sponsor, providing regular updates on initiative progress, ROI, and risks.
  • Lead due diligence and integration planning for M&A activities as required.
