Each interaction with workshop participants, faculty and fellow staff members, creates the Omega experience.  Job Description Manager On Duty: exempt, full-time; on average 35 hours per week. Reports to Senior Director of Campus Operations. Summary The Manager on Duty is the go-to person responsible for independently holding the campus safety and making key decisions during emergency situations, including providing initial first aid treatment and activating emergency response system, calling police or ambulance, or removing participants or seasonal community members from campus.  This position is supported by Operations and Guest Services. A high level of independent judgment and discretion is used in all decision making. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Hold Manager position with all duties of Guest Services Manager * Responsibly for security of campus and able to respond to any crisis as they arise * Be available for and respond to all radio calls during entire work period * Answer and respond to all emergency situations * Ensure the safe care of all individuals, as necessary * Operation of a motor vehicle  * Enforce all staff guidelines and policies including noise, drinking/smoking, etc. * Act as contact person for all 911 emergency calls * Coordinates the night radio/campus patrol team * Be visible on campus between the hours of 5pm and 11pm * Act as a representative of Omega during any/all issues that may arise: storms, power outages, noise, housing issues, etc. * Work in a constant state of alertness and act in a safe manner * Other duties as required by the Supervisor Work Details * This position functions indoors and outdoors on Omega's campus. * This is a full time position. The schedule may fluctuate based on operational need. Weekend availability is required.  Physical Requirements * Ability to constantly work outdoors in all weather conditions. * Ability to frequently move items that weigh 50-75lbs for various needs. * Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time * Ability to traverse a hilly campus in diverse weather conditions * Ability to position self to perform diverse job tasks as necessary * Ability to communicate information and ideas so that others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. * Ability to observe details at close range.  Required Experience/Qualities  * 1-3 years of Supervisory/Managerial experience. * Must possess knowledge of basic emergency response protocols, including First Aid and CPR procedures. * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Valid driver’s license. * Timely, reliable, and service oriented individual. * Team player. * Alignment with Omega's mission, goals and core values.
