Responsibilities

As Manager Operations, you will lead our production departments in Nieuw-Lekkerland. You are responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. You translate the company strategy into operational goals and ensure optimal coordination between production, project management, engineering, QHSE, HR, and procurement. Your tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and optimizing production processes and staffing
  • Preparing and monitoring operational budgets and production targets
  • Implementing improvement programs and KPIs
  • Ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with procedures
  • Leading, coaching, and developing employees
  • Conducting team meetings, performance reviews, and overseeing HR policy within your department
  • Promoting collaboration, development, and a safe working environment
  • Reporting on progress, quality, and costs to the BU Director
  • Working closely with colleagues from project management, engineering, procurement, QHSE, and HR to align capacity, planning, and quality
  • Participating in management meetings and acting as a sparring partner for the BU Director
