Description

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in facilities management, operations/office management project oversight, tenant relations, and team supervision.
  • Experience in budget management.
  • Knowledge of legislation related to property management including Ontario Fire Code, Ontario Building Code, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Extensive experience in tendering, overseeing major and minor renovation projects, and other infrastructure initiatives.
  • Ability to develop and manage project scopes, budgets, timelines, and resource plans.
  • Proficient in MS Office, computerized property software, and building automation systems.
  • Experience in negotiating lease and contract execution, and contractor management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced planning, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and mediation skills.
  • Strong leadership skills; able to work collaboratively and strategically with colleagues, tenants, business partners and vendors.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the principles of social justice, cultural competency and equity and inclusion.
