We are expanding and seeking a Manager or Senior Manager with experience in due diligence, controlling, or audit who is eager to enhance their analytical skills in a deals-oriented environment.
Our services cover mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, valuation services, capital markets advice and restructuring. As one of the leading Deal Advisory businesses in Sweden, we have advised on a number of the largest transactions within the Swedish and Nordic marketplace with large corporates, private equity and government clients.
Our team in Malmö and Gothenburg comprise approx. 20 experts and is a fully integrated part of KPMG Deal Advisory. The Deal Advisory South & West team has a full-service offering, supporting Swedish and global clients with M&A Advisory, Transaction Services as well as Valuation. Due to significant growth, we are looking for a Manager or Senior Manager specializing in Transaction Services (financial due diligence).

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, we believe that you have

  • 4-8 years of due diligence experience, or, candidates with a corresponding amount of experience from controlling and/or audit who want to expand their analytical skills in a deals-oriented environment.

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills in English

Responsibilities:

ABOUT US AND THE ROLE

Financial due diligence is a comprehensive analysis of a company’s financial history and risks, conducted during a transaction process in order to ensure an accurate understanding of the company’s true financial position and value.
As a Manager/Senior Manager within Transaction Services, you will be responsible for the execution of Financial Due Diligence projects and are expected to take end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of both larger and smaller projects (proposals, engagement formalities, risk process, project management, quality assurance, reporting, SPA, etc.), by balancing the needs/requests of the client, your team, internal stakeholders, and the project’s financial outcomes. You will work in close collaboration with the Lead Partner to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
You are also expected to contribute to the promotion of other Deal Advisory services to the clients you work with.
You are responsible for managing relationships with the target company and are the daily contact with the client, while keeping the responsible partner updated as needed.
The position is either based in Gothenburg or Malmö.
