Manager – Oracle Support Department: Finance – Business Transformation Location: Port Moresby Air Niugini is seeking an experienced and highly driven Manager – Oracle Support to lead the airline’s Oracle Fusion EPM and ERP transformation initiatives as part of our wider Digital Transformation Program. This senior role will be instrumental in maximizing value from the organisation’s investment in Oracle Cloud solutions and driving system excellence across Finance, HR, Procurement, and operational business units. The Manager – Oracle Support will oversee the implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of Oracle Fusion EPM, ERP, HCM, and SCM modules. The role requires strong project leadership, deep technical and functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, and the ability to engage effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of transformation outcomes. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery Lead the Oracle Fusion EPM implementation and drive ERP, HCM, and SCM module enhancements. Ensure alignment between Oracle projects and the overall Digital Transformation Program. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources. Proactively identify and manage project risks and dependencies. Provide regular updates to senior management, Transformation Steering Committee, and the Board as required. Oracle Fusion Expertise Serve as SME across Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM, and EPM modules. Provide functional guidance on system design, configuration, integration, and optimization. Oversee system testing, UAT, deployment, and quarterly Oracle updates. Stakeholder Engagement & Supplier Management Liaise with Oracle, implementation partners, and technical suppliers to ensure effective delivery. Engage cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align business needs. Act as the primary point of contact for vendor escalations and service delivery management. Integration & Process Improvements Drive integration of Oracle Fusion with enterprise applications, financial institutions, and third-party systems. Identify automation opportunities and improve reporting and workflow efficiency. Promote Oracle best practices across business processes. Governance, Training & Documentation Establish system governance frameworks and change management processes. Maintain documentation for critical processes, system configurations, and dependencies. Prepare training materials and conduct training for super-users and line managers. Ensure compliance with audit, security, and data integrity requirements. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Finance, Business, or related discipline (Master’s desirable). Professional certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) and/or Oracle Fusion applications highly preferred. 7–10 years’ experience in Oracle ERP/HCM/Procurement/EPM implementations, including integrations. Minimum 2 years in a leadership or project management role. Strong understanding of enterprise business processes across ERP, HCM, and SCM. Experience within the aviation industry is an advantage.
