QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred (PhD/JD or equivalent a plus).
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years in supply chain or procurement.
• Strong knowledge of spend management, sourcing strategies, and supplier management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and virtual teams.
• Experience bridging technical and business functions, with risk evaluation expertise.
• Proficiency in SAP (P01) preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Manager – Ortho Supply Chain Procurement (SCP) to join our Network Strategy team. Reporting to the Business Unit Procurement, Platform Source Lead, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end strategic sourcing projects – from assessment through implementation and stabilization.
This role is pivotal in ensuring supplier performance across supply reliability, cost competitiveness, and profitability improvements, while supporting critical business initiatives such as network optimization, product line extensions, design changes, and lifecycle management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives aligned with overall supply chain and business strategy.
• Develop and execute change management plans, including risk identification and mitigation.
• Manage supplier selection, transfers, and onboarding in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Drive sourcing events and negotiations (RFx management).
• Support master data setup for Source/Procurement (SAP P01 experience required).
• Contribute to decision-making across finance, marketing, planning, quality, and design.
• Ensure integration and communication across supply chain functions (Make, Buy, Plan).
• Align production schedules with Finance, Engineering, Quality, Deliver, and Service & Repair teams.
• Maintain compliance with systems, procedures, and interdependent supply chain projects.
