Design learning that drives performance where it matters most. At IHG, learning plays a critical role in enabling hotel performance, brand consistency, and leadership capability across our global estate. As Manager, Owner Learning Solutions, you will design and deliver high-impact learning solutions that support hotel owners with learning focused on their hotel operations, brand standards, commercial performance, and leadership development across regions. This role is ideal for a learning professional who combines strong instructional design expertise with a practical understanding of performance in operational environments. You will create engaging, scalable learning solutions, partner closely with global and regional stakeholders, and ensure best practices are embedded consistently across the learning ecosystem. Your Impact Design, develop, and manage performance-enhancing learning solutions for hotel Owners on Brands, Hotel Operations, Commercial Performance and Leadership development. Create engaging, multi-format learning experiences, including instructor-led, virtual, e-learning, mobile, video, and blended solutions. Apply established instructional design methodologies to ensure learning is effective, scalable, and aligned to regional and stakeholder needs. Identify and embed best practices into global and regional training materials and performance tools. Act as a subject matter expert, advising on learning approaches, design strategies, and evaluation methods. Develop global and regional documentation to support consistent application of operational standards and systems. Partner with third-party vendors to define requirements, review outputs, and ensure quality delivery. Pilot learning content and enable consistent delivery through train-the-trainer programs and mentoring. Support regional rollout and deployment, sharing best practices and providing hands-on guidance. Collaborate with global and regional learning teams on needs analysis, content development, and feedback. Resolve training-related hotel issues and continuously improve solutions using insights and feedback. Manage assigned budgets, including estimates, invoice tracking, and month-end reconciliation. What We’re Looking For 3-5 years’ experience in instructional design, learning content development, or performance consulting. Proven experience designing learning for complex systems and operational environments. Strong understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles. Solid project management capability, managing multiple initiatives from design through deployment. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, vendors, and hotel teams. Hands-on experience with learning authoring tools (Adobe Captivate, Adobe InDesign, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of hotel operations preferred. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
