EDUCATION & EXPEREINCE:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science in either Environmental, Engineering, Policy Studies or Data Management, Data Systems, Data Science or Data Analytics.
  • 10 years relevant experience with a minimum 5 years in compliance reporting or the ability to demonstrate successful project outcomes
  • Expert in data systems such as Excel including formulas and macros, Power BI, SAP and similar reporting tools
  • Experience in executing EPR compliance strategies, preferred, however, if not, knowledge of data analytics and ability to apply to EPR compliance
Responsibilities

  • Analyze regulations to determine relevant elements for the business.
  • Examine reportable packaging materials with a good understanding of Panasonic’s broad range of products portfolio as well as end users (BtoC, BtoB or BtoGovernment or civil society).
  • Participate in multiple trade associations to track legislative and regulatory developments and guide environmental policy in the best interest of Panasonic.
  • Maintain and manage determination points, logic and justification of regulatory language associated with government implementation of packaging laws.
  • Report on trends and inform stakeholders of impact and obligations.
  • Consolidation of product specific sales data and packaging details in formats required by packaging PROs (material types, weights, recyclability).
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting to regulatory bodies.
