Job description

CONNECT TO YOUR INDUSTRY

To support the Firm’s expanding Equity Partner population, we have an opportunity for a finance professional to join our team.
This is an opportunity to work with the most senior people in our business (owners), supporting and guiding them over their lifecycle with the firm and beyond (lateral hire / promotion, capital injections, monthly draw and profit distributions, financial statements, retirement and pension annuity).
We are looking for a qualified accountant with good spreadsheet skills and attention to detail. They should also be confident to ask questions, to challenge the status quo, and have the initiative to implement change – looking to challenge processes and influence others as the situation requires.
We believe that development should continue post qualification and regularly schedule time to empower team members to take advantage of the development training available.
Should you wish to apply, you will find we are a close team and truly believe in supporting each other to provide the best service we can - with the flexibility that comes from knowing the team are ‘in it together’. If this opportunity is of interest to you with some flexibility, please do discuss your requirements with us.
Connect to your career at Deloitte
Deloitte drives progress. Using our vast range of expertise, we help our clients become leaders wherever they choose to compete. To do this, we invest in outstanding people. We build teams of future thinkers, with diverse talents and backgrounds, and empower them all to reach for and achieve more.
What brings us all together at Deloitte? It’s how we approach the thousands of decisions we make every day. How we behave, our beliefs and our attitudes. In other words: our values. Whatever we do, wherever we are in the world, we lead the way, serve with integrity, take care of each other, foster inclusion, and collaborate for measurable impact. These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.

CONNECT TO YOUR SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

You will be a self-driven, qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or similar) that takes pride in delivering an excellent service. Confident in your own abilities, you will be looking for an opportunity to work as part of a small, tight team and deliver an excellent service to ultimately ensure our current and former Equity Partners get paid the right amount at the right time.
You’re comfortable with technology. To succeed in the role you will be IT literate which will enable you to manipulate excel reports, model profit shares and produce cashflow forecasts.
You get the job done. Someone with strong organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative, and under pressure, to meet deadlines.
You’re a team player. Someone who brings out the best in others and has an infectious energy and motivation to succeed. In addition to investing time to develop junior team members, you will also be interested in learning the end-to-end process and understanding the bigger picture – you will collaboratively share information with trusted team members, being mindful of the highly confidential data you are entrusted with.
