Description

DESCRIPTION:

  • Ensure effective implementation of sub-divisional strategy by providing direction, structure, business plans, and support.
  • Secure and close partnership deals, including the negotiation of commercial terms and conditions and working alongside legal team to negotiate and conclude contractual and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide input and support in defining business requirements for the onboarding of new digital products (VAS, RMS, mobile ads, and data monetization).
  • Work with the business to select, negotiate with, and manage relationships with strategic partners, 3rd party service and platform providers, digital content partners, and OTT service providers that drive value for customers, balancing collaboration and competition with them; and
  • Support the Senior Manger to analyze market data and customer insights to identify profitable market opportunities and collaborate with strategic partners to deliver world-class lifestyle products that capture market share, drive optimal customer engagement, and increase revenue.
  • Drive research, investigate opportunities in the market, assess partner value propositions, and build an industry network and profile that allow MTN Digital Services to secure strategic partnership opportunities to advance the digital business strategy.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with key industry stakeholders such as NCC VAS Aggregators and Licensees, technology platform providers, application developers, advertisers, and agencies.Manage third-party dependencies and secure the necessary engagement and resource alignment for the creation of co-developed product features.

EDUCATION:

  • A first degree in a related fieldMBA is desirable.

EXPERIENCE:

6–13 years’ experience, which includes:

  • A minimum of 4 years of managing products
  • Experience in collaborating with and influencing both internal and external stakeholders
  • A good understanding of MNOs, OTT/e-commerce players, and the Nigerian digital ecosystem
  • Project Management
  • Experience in digital product management, e-commerce, or consulting will be a plus.
