Responsibilities

YOUR NEW ROLE

You will work in a great team environment and be responsible for developing account management plans, proactively developing key relationships and analysing current trends and growth opportunities within the portfolio.

You will also;

  • Establish and develop good working relationships with Authorised Representatives in your assigned portfolio, for the purpose of developing, then monitoring compliant and profitable repeat business.
  • Respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Proactively promote and support the Authorised Representatives and QBE Australia’s products & services and company image to intermediaries.
  • Review existing portfolios and recommend strategies for increased growth.
  • Work with Service Standards as agreed with Manager - Senior Manager Partnerships.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Previous experience as a BDM/Account Manager.
  • Outstanding Customer Service and Relationship Building skills.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to lead by influence with Brokers and Underwriters.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment by supporting and developing team members.
  • Product knowledge and understanding to engage intermediaries and fulfill growth opportunities.
