Job ID: 2025-232215 JOB OVERVIEW: Manage the day to day activities of the Sunrise Senior Living payroll department for both the U.S. and Canada payrolls. Oversee a staff of seven to include planning, monitoring and performance appraisals. Works closely with ADP to ensure that payroll processing timelines are met. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of Payroll Management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Payroll processing with a large company
  • Previous ADP experience a plus
  • Must be familiar with Federal, State and local requirements
  • Familiarity PeopleSoft financials
  • An understanding of Canadian payroll and taxes
  • Past Kronos Work Force Central experience a plus
  • Experience managing a team to drive results
  • Must demonstrate the ability to multitask and perform under deadlines

The unique responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the essential functions listed as follows:

  • Actively manage the day to day payroll activities
  • Reconcile biweekly payrolls for both the US and Canada
  • Work closely with ADP US and Canada to resolve payroll issues quickly and efficiently
  • Review biweekly PAU files for compliance and accuracy
  • Create earnings and deduction code setup forms as required to provide to ADP
  • Monitor and update payroll related forms on company intranet (TeamLink)
  • Participate in yearend planning meetings for both US and Canada
  • Maintain compliance in assigned required training and all training required by state/province or other regulating authorities as applicable to this role to ensure that Sunrise standards are always met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
