Position Summary: As a key member of the People Analytics team in Bangalore, you will design, build, and scale the data infrastructure that powers our workforce insights. Sitting at the intersection of HR, analytics, and technology, you’ll ensure we can reliably connect, transform, and deliver data that tells meaningful stories about our people. You will serve as the technical lead for building and maintaining integrations, data models, and workflows that enable the People Analytics team to unlock insights for leaders across the organization. The Team: Our People Analytics team drives strategic and operational decisions across all levels—from the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team to HR Business Partners and frontline managers—by analyzing workforce data and delivering actionable insights. You’ll join a five-person analytics team spanning the US and India. As HR Analytics Product Owner in an Agile framework: Engage directly with Information Technology team to drive business priorities Define business requirements and manage the product backlog for HR data warehouse and analytic solutions Design and build data sources to enable analytics development Lead user acceptance testing and coordinate deployment communications Develop reports and dashboards to drive business decisions Job Responsibilities: Data Architecture & Modeling Design HR-friendly data models and dimensional structures that make complex data usable and accessible. Develop and maintain scalable SQL-based data models to support HR analytics and reporting. Optimize stored procedures for efficient data processing and retrieval. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with HR data governance standards. ETL Development & Data Integration Build and maintain ETL pipelines using modern tools (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Apache Airflow) to automate data ingestion and transformation. Integrate data from multiple sources including Workday, Anaplan, and Microsoft 360. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with IT, Snowflake administrators, and HR systems teams to align on architecture, integration standards, and governance. Ensure appropriate access controls and data security protocols are in place. Troubleshoot infrastructure and performance issues collaboratively. Analytics and Visualization Support HR KPIs and people metrics through dashboards and reports. Develop intuitive, user-friendly dashboards using Power BI. Apply UX principles to create consumable insights for diverse audiences. Workday Reporting Expertise Serve as the Workday reporting expert within the People Analytics team. Build advanced reports using Workday Report Writer, Analytics Hub, and downstream BI tools. Partner with HR stakeholders to deliver system-driven insights. Qualifications: 8 to 14 years of experience in data engineering, data management, or analytics. Expertise with Workday required Familiarity with other HR and Financial systems such as Anaplan and data governance Proficiency in SQL, including data modeling, stored procedures, and query optimization. Hands-on experience with ETL tools and pipeline development. Experience with Python for data processing and automation. Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Workday, Anaplan) and data governance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset. Excellent communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration. Proven ability to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity. Highly organized and operations-minded, with a focus on process improvement. Background in business intelligence or analytics engineering is a plus. Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive data.
