ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Manager, Personal lines, to join our growing team!

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE:

  • Leadership
  • Develop methods to inspire and build a highly effective and engaged team capable of meeting the current and future needs through effective leadership.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement leadership strategies, organizational structure, and processes/technology improvement initiatives.
  • Provide effective leadership by continuously keeping staff informed on initiatives and results and share responsibility for the overall performance, productivity, and engagement of team members.
  • Develop and manage effective working relationships within Corporate Personal Lines and across distribution channels.
  • Play a key and active role in the selection process and hiring of qualified staff.
  • Lead by example and live our values every day.
  • Care for people by being supportive, providing candid feedback and recognizing performance.
  • Be open and honest by acknowledging challenging situations, inviting different perspectives and being authentic.
  • Take accountability by concentrating on what is important, seeking solutions while focusing on results.

  • Loss Prevention
  • Develop our longer-term strategy for Loss Prevention in Personal lines, deploying loss prevention coast-to-coast across brands.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and address key risks and opportunities within the loss prevention landscape.
  • Manage the productivity of the team.
  • Develop, monitor and analyze loss prevention metrics to identify trends, develop insights, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Work closely with actuarial, operational, sales, and marketing teams to integrate loss prevention strategies with business objectives.
  • Underwriting
  • Proactively analyze data and results to identify regional trends and develop appropriate action plans to enhance underwriting performance by protecting the bottomline, enabling quality growth and product innovation.
  • Assist in defining, planning and organizing the deployment of projects to support Personal Lines goals.
  • Develop, review, and evolve underwriting practices supported by data-driven insights.
  • Organize, lead and assist in the delivery of corporate audits of each of the regions within the regional division.
