Responsibilities: You will be responsible to: manage pharmacy operations, monitors service, supports audits, prepares areas for quality management, and collaborate with healthcare providers to streamline medication management and use in Pharmacy services, ensuring compliance with JCIA and relevant national standards. provide strategic direction, budgeting, monitoring budgetary variations, staff selection and recruitment, and training and development and assess Director Pharmacy to achieve departmental goals. assist Director Pharmacy in formulary maintenance, vendor selection, inventory management, and participates in medication management committee meetings. ensure decision-making, implementation, and manage legal requirements. maintain regular communication with supervisors and managers to update quality and safety parameters, participates in Quality and Safety Division activities, and serves as a role model for pharmacy staff. Requirements: You should have: PharmD/Bachelor in Pharmacy; a relevant Master Degree in Pharmacy or advanced training in allied discipline will be given preference. MBA in health management will be considered an advantage Registered with pharmacy council Pakistan Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive professional and supervisory experience in a medium to large hospital including 3 years in a managerial capacity a tertiary care academic institution Written and verbal communication skills Ability to conceive ‘out of the box’ solutions medication management related issues. Automation of various aspects of medication management as a change agent Good interpersonal skills to build and guide teams within multidisciplinary environs Knowledge of pharmacy management and drug distribution system in a tertiary care hospital setting. Flexibility, competency, ability and willingness to provide staff supervision at variable work hours and shifts.
