POSITION DESCRIPTION Job Title: Table Game Pit Manager Department: Table Games Reports to: Table Game Manager FLSA Status: Exempt POSITION SUMMARY The team member in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The Table Games Pit Manager is also required to practice the customer courtesy skills to ensure our guests are afforded a remarkable experience. ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The following statements are intended as general examples of the duties of this position and are not all-inclusive for specific positions. Interact with all guests and team members to positively influence the guest and team member experience. Must be able to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. 1. Assumes overall responsibility for the effective gaming service activities for table game. 1. Communicate any pertinent information to the Table Games Manager, or other necessary team members regarding player information, title 31 information, suspicious activity, possible intoxicated guests, or any other information that is important to the operation of the casino. 1. Ability to understand and use systems for table management, casino management, payroll, and purchasing. Use computers to complete reports, look up player information, look up table information, and issue comps. 1. Maintains constant awareness of activities in all areas of table games in order to observe and act appropriately in the event of any suspicious or irregular activity. 1. Ensure integrity of all table games and protect the casino’s assets. 1. Manage and make decisions that positively affect the bottom line to keep costs in line while maximizing revenue 1. Proficient with the internal control concepts, practices, and procedures. 1. Leads and directs the work of others using a certain degree of constructive and positive feedback. 1. Ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. 1. Handle routine customer complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion and action as a member of management. Seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships. 1. Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including nights, weekends and holidays; shifts may change based on business needs. This includes working early, over, or during normally off time when needed. 1. Performs other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical/mental demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical Demands: * Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend and reach for extended periods of time. * Must be able to pull, kneel, squat and grasp as needed. * Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. Mental Demands: * Must be able to tolerate a variety of different levels of noise, illumination, temperature and crowdedness on the Casino floor. * Must be able to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment. * Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees. Work Environment: * Must be able to work in assigned areas with limited space, high volumes, diverse clientele, minimal and/or bright lighting and variation of climate control. * Must be able to work in a smoking environment with loud noise. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Experience/Education: * Require a high school diploma or its equivalent. * Must be able to read and write. * Must have strong mathematical skills. * Must have a minimum of 2 years table games experience. Knowledge: * Black Jack, Roulette, Baccarat, Craps and Poker strongly preferred * Must be knowledgeable of applicable Missouri State Gaming laws and regulations. * Knowledge of game procedure and internal controls. . Other: * Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming License. * Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification relating to the position. * Must complete all required company training.
