SUMMARY

We are seeking an entrepreneurial minded Plant Engineer to join our team at Daffy Apple Corp. in Denver, CO. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes, contributing to our mission of producing high-quality caramel products.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Plant Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement engineering solutions to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Oversee project scheduling and ensure timely completion of engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
  • Provide technical support for programmable logic controllers and other industrial equipment.
  • Ensure production goals (volume, cost, yield, and quality) are consistently met or exceeded
