Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction (SARTR) is the government’s solution provider and supports the significant events in Albertans’ lives, like having a child, getting married, mourning the loss of a loved one, getting a driver’s license, or buying a home.
Our ministry is responsible for protecting consumers in an increasingly complex economic environment; overseeing registry activities, like vehicle, business and land registrations; and cutting red tape by one-third to reduce costs, speed up approvals, and make life easier for hard-working Albertans and businesses.
