About the Job This role contributes to the strategic pricing and product management of group insurance by supporting pricing activities, ensuring compliance and profitability, and driving product initiatives through effective stakeholder collaboration and data-driven insights. Manage day-to-day complex assignments and queries from stakeholders. Provide technical pricing for group insurance products using established models Ensure compliance with internal guidelines on business acceptance, risk management and profitability Manage reinsurance risk within treaty limits and ensure proper facultative placements. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on product development of existing or new products and ensure compliance with product approval process Data management for analysis and pricing. Perform profitability study for group insurance business. Develop and test pricing models including performing statistical analysis and conducting claim experience study. Develop and maintain pricing quotation and reporting tools. Participate in group insurance projects to streamline processes and enhance pricing solutions as well as reporting capability. Analyse, monitor and evaluate key financial metrics that support the department’s various initiatives and strategies. Degree preferably in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics or business related fields; 4 or more years working experience, ideally in Group Insurance pricing or relevant experience; Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; Skilled in managing large data sets used for statistical analysis; In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in related areas such as product development, pricing and financial condition management; Meticulous, self-starter with the ability to make sound judgments and work under pressure or tight time lines; Strong interpersonal, articulation, communication and presentation skills; Skilled with PC Applications such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word; Basic programming experience preferred (VBA - Visual Basic for Applications); Knowledge in statistical or business intelligence tools, such as SQL and Tableau is appreciated.
