Description
Key activities Responsible for Pricing for all the Project RFQ’s. Responsible for pricing Ex –India for all the Project shipments from all DHL network offices. Obtaining Ocean freight rates from OFR dept for any export shipment defined as Industrial Project. Negotiation of freight rates with shipping lines for shipments defined as Industrial Project. Assist M&S team in India with their project related queries. Coordinate with Overseas Agents/DHL Network offices for import Project shipments pricing. Negotiation with local vendors for the costs for transportation and other services. Shall support operations as and when required. Floating of RFQ’s to the DHL network offices/ agents/vendors locally generated business Ensure prompt and timely updates, responses to both internal and external customers Communicates actively with network, customers and carriers/vendors on all operational and commercial issues Ensure strict compliance of customer SOP Key capabilities Skills Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet etc.) Communication Skills Inter Personal Skills Knowledge Have Sound knowledge about the products Knowledge of shipping documents Knowledge of statutory compliances Well connected within the network. Expected years of experience Requires sound knowledge of business. 2 years min experience in industry. Educational Qualifications Graduate in any field + PG in shipping management is added advantage
Responsibilities
The manager will be responsible for pricing all project RFQs and negotiating freight rates for industrial project shipments. They will also assist the M&S team with project-related queries and ensure compliance with customer SOPs.
