Description:
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Master’s degree in Finance, MBA, or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5-8 years of experience in private equity investments, with exposure to fund manager selection, direct investments, and co-investments.
- Strong network of contacts within the global private equity and asset management industry.
- Proven track record of managing the full investment lifecycle from sourcing to execution.
- Expertise in advanced valuation methods and financial modeling.
- Experience in project management and negotiating legal documentation.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and team collaboration skills.
- Adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
EIA is the sole custodian of the wealth of the federal government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Authority owns stakes in UAE-based companies and manages a globally diversified fund. Its mandate is to protect and grow the wealth of the federal government of the UAE.
This role encompasses responsibilities across fund investments, secondaries, co-investments, and portfolio management in the private equity, infrastructure, and natural resources asset classes. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in private equity, infrastructure investments, with exposure to manager selection, direct investments, and co-investments.
The candidate will be engaged in the full investment cycle, including sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and structuring investments.
The candidate will also prepare recommendations for various committees, including the Pre-Screening Committee, Investment Committee and Executive Committee. Success in this role requires advanced financial modeling skills, strategic thinking, strong relationship management, and the ability to oversee projects from due diligence to closing. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate robust portfolio monitoring and reporting capabilities.
STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development and approval of asset class investment strategies in alignment with organizational goals.
- Research market trends, identify investment theses, and build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide guidance and support to UAE nationals, participating in recruitment and talent development activities.
- Oversee third-party service providers to ensure high-quality support.
- Represent the organization in fostering partnerships that drive performance and growth.
