Responsibilities

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Pro Operations Support Manager will serve as a key role supporting the Home Depot Pro Managed accounts over $1M annual sales or as determined by Outside Sales Team. The Pro Operations Support Manager is a customer facing position with responsibility for working with cross-functional teams to support Pro Managed account projects from inception to project execution. The manager role will identify, analyze and deliver compelling customer insights that drive clear business actions and outcomes. They will champion a best-in-class Pro customer experience across all channels and platforms. The role will partner with multiple cross- functional departments to ensure seamless alignment on initiatives. Strong leadership skills, communication and analytical ability is critical to the role. This role will work in a cross-functional environment leading respective workstreams to meet business priorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops solutions that leverage the Company’ s volumes, systems and partnerships while providing consistently high levels of customer service in a cost-effective manner.
  • Identifies and prioritizes logistics needs and communicates recommendations to upper management in order to achieve efficient product distribution.
  • Provides data and recommendations on product tracking, route analysis, rerouting, costing and usage alternatives.
  • Advises IS and system users in the development and implementation of logistics systems improvements and changes.
  • Responds to Requests for Information (RFI) from potential software vendors.
  • Tests vendor software packages to identify potential shortcomings; ascertains vendors’ ability to customize products to Home Depot specifications.
