Summary: Provide operational and process control expertise and experience to the Permian process engineering team that supports the twenty-two cryogenic processing plants in the area. Essential Functions: Monitor daily plant operations and operating data to minimize issues and downtime and report to the Senior Director of Process Engineering. Provide expertise and support for PSM applications by simplifying corporate safety procedures into practical checklists. Oversee the transition from third-party process control support for PLC and Delta V programming to in-house resources. Creates and delivers relevant training presentations for plant operations to effectively support process improvement initiatives. Ensures that the operating parameters remain within the equipment's design limits. Essential Requirements: Experience, Educational & Special Training Required 20+ years of industry experience required At least 8 Years of supervisory experience. Strong commitment to safety, environmental, and regulatory programs and leading by example Ability to function as PSM lead Previous supervisory experience preferred Must have working knowledge of natural gas engines, various compressor packages, and propane compression Understanding of plant liquids, liquid stabilizer and stabilized product, plant gas amine systems, TEG systems, mol sieve systems, cryogenic process systems, and NRU’s Regenerative thermal oxidizer / thermal oxidizer/process flares / closed drain systems / other plant utilities Preferred Skills: Experience in Microsoft Office, plant DCS and PLC systems, and SCADA Excellent analytical skills Strong team and customer focus orientation Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Excel, DataPARC, and other computer skills preferred Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment Occasional overnight travel may be required
