ACC is seeking a hands-on Procurement Manager to oversee our end-to-end procurement function, driving stock management, supplier performance, and cost-effective purchasing strategies that support our food manufacturing and maintenance operations. Australian Country Choice is dedicated to the best-practice supply of high-quality meat products to domestic and export markets. Our operations encompass everything from cattle breeding, backgrounding and lot feeding to beef primary processing and multi-specie further processing, value adding, retail packing and distribution. Have strong negotiation skills and the ability to respectfully challenge processes and ideas. Have the ability to work in high pressured environments and problem solve accordingly. Manage multiple customer requirements and be able to demonstrate risk mitigation strategies. Develop and implement purchasing strategies for direct and indirect materials. Ensure compliance, quality assurance, and operational excellence. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Support animal welfare, environmental, and safety standards Demonstrate leadership abilities, with the capacity to mentor and develop team members. Service-driven with a ‘customer first’ attitude. Experience & Qualifications 3–5 years in a similar procurement role, ideally in FMCG or related industries. Experience with systems like JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle Cloud, or Protrace. Strong self-management, customer focus, and prioritisation skills.
